Have you ever wondered what the Worldwide Headquarters of Stella Maris Books, LLC looks like? I’m delighted to finally give y’all a look inside the space where I do almost all of my work these days! It’s hard to believe we’ve now been in this house a year.
A local carpenter (who is much in demand and has had a host of challenges this year) has been working on bookcases for my office since late June. Finally, last week he (mostly) finished the install. While there is one final section to go in behind my desk in early 2024, I am thrilled with the impact this project has already made on my workspace, and I am overjoyed to finally have my books unpacked and on display once again.
Now, as you might imagine, these improvements have interrupted my writing just a bit, but I am still focused on The Sullivan’s Island Supper Club (forthcoming) and making as much progress on the next Carolina Tale as I can. With April 16 less than four months away now, there’s certainly no time to lose!
