Produce Ingredients:
- 1 c. frozen or fresh kale
- 1 c. frozen wild blueberries
- 1/4 c. frozen mango
- 1/4 c. frozen pineapple
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom
- 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. matcha green tea powder
- 1 heaping tsp. Maca powder
- 1 tsp. Amla powder
- 1 tbsp. blueberry powder
- 2 scoops of strawberry powder
- 1 tbsp. cacao powder
- 1 tbsp. chia
- 1 tbsp. hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp. ground flax seeds
- 2 tbsp. walnuts
Liquid Ingredients:
- 1 c. unsweetened soy milk
- 1-6 oz. water
- Ice (if needed)
- Date syrup (optional)
Directions:
- Measure out everything except the frozen ingredients and place in a small bowl.
- Put the kale and the soy milk in a Vitamix Blender or similar and blend for 30 seconds.
- Add the dry ingredients (ginger – walnuts) and blend for 30 seconds.
- Add frozen blueberries, mango, and pineapple and blend on 5 for 20 seconds, then turn the dial up to ten until the timer gets to 1:00 minute. Add a little water if the smoothie is too thick to make the “Vitamix vortex.” (The ingredients will be pulled down in a spiral and move around the blender freely.)
- If you like your smoothies a little sweeter, add a couple tablespoons of date syrup.
- Add ice if the smoothie is thinner than you like. (It will likely be very thick, but sometimes on warmer days, it gets thin.)
- Pour into 20 oz cup and serve with a smoothie straw.
Enjoy!
