Time sure flies when you’re writing a book. I can hardly believe that we’re through the month of May. A very happy belated Mother’s Day to everyone, whether you are a mother or love a mother. I spent Mother’s Day on my own in Folly Beach, on a retreat with a group of author friends. This year was difficult as it was our first Mother’s Day without Mom. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful memories I have, and will of course carry her in my heart always. I’m sending all my love to those of you who are missing your mothers too. Of course I heard from our children and some of the grandkids too, and I do realize how richly blessed I am.

Last month I shared that I was working on launching merchandise for my store, and I’m delighted to announce that those items are now live and available for purchase! I had a blast at my most recent in-person appearance at the Little River Blue Crab Festival in Little River, SC. I shared a booth with my friend and fellow author Caleb Wygal and we both so appreciated seeing those of you who stopped by to have a book signed and chat with us throughout the weekend.
